  • Multidisciplinary treatment planning in dentistry is an essential approach to provide comprehensive and holistic care to patients.

    This course is designed to introduce dental professionals to the principles and practices of integrating multiple dental disciplines in treatment planning. Attendees will learn how to collaborate effectively across various specialties such as orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.

  • This course will start at 9:00 and will end at 17:00 guided by Tommie Van de Velde and Amiram Avitan. Afterwords, we’re planning a fun get-together; drinks and bites are foreseen.

    Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and interactive discussions, participants will gain insights into:

    • Meet Amiram

      Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Amiram Avitan embarked on an international academic journey that led him to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Szeged, Hungary, in 2014. Following his graduation, Amiram refined his skills and gained invaluable practical experience at a renowned full-mouth rehabilitation clinic in Budapest.

Eager to broaden his horizons, he seized an opportunity in Brussels in 2016, where he relocated to pursue professional growth. One year later, he established a state-of-the-art dental practice Nuvodent in Antwerp (2017) that features seven fully equipped treatment rooms and has since then, Amiram has cultivated a reputation for delivering exceptional care and achieving outstanding results for his patients.

Initially focusing on endodontic, prosthodontic, and restorative dentistry, Amiram has since expanded his scope to specialize in aesthetic and functional full-mouth rehabilitation.

We are very impressed with Amiram’s work and his dedication for advancements the field of dentistry.

    • Meet Tommie

      Tommie Van de Velde graduated in 2001 from the University of Ghent, Belgium. He continued with a 3 year full-time Master in Periodontology and fixed Prosthodontics at the same university. In 2009, he was granted the PhD title with the subject: “Innovative protocols in implant dentistry”. He worked from 2004-2012 as assistant Professor at the department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology at the University of Ghent. During this time he directed the Postgraduate course in Oral Implantology, a part-time education for general dentists.

      He owns a group of multidisciplinary dental clinics. Together with his team, they provide complete care dentistry to their patients. He has a clinical activity exclusively in periodontology, implantology and aesthetic oral reconstruction.

      Tommie Van de Velde is Past President of the Belgian Society of Periodontology and the Junior Committee of the European Academy of Osseointegration. International publications accompany his clinical work and courses.
